Trixie thought for a moment,

then smiled a strange smile.

“You could have this old tutu

I wear in class,” she said. “But

I have a costume from the

National Ballet at home. It’s

made of magical material. Only smart people and amazing

dancers can see it!”

That would be just the

costume for me,

thought Emma.

“I want to wear it in

the show,” she snapped.

“No problem,”

smiled Trixie.

Soon the whole town had heard about the beautiful tutu.

Emma bragged at school, boasted at the bus stop, and gloated

at the playground.

“It’s so amazing,” she told Dee and Dom, “silly people

and bad dancers can’t even see it!”
