I gaped at how nice their home was. The rooms were larger than the tiny house I grew up in. They had a flat screen tv hanging on the wall. There was an oversized sectional couch in front of it that could fit a football team. They stocked the kitchen full of food that made my stomach growl despite eating only a short while ago.

They showed me room after room. One was the living room, then the dining room. After a few typical ones, it became even more wilder than the last. One had a billiards room, and another looked like a strip club private area with a pole in the middle, a couch on one wall, and a king-sized bed against the other. I didn’t know why the hell they needed a room like that, but I guess it was normal because they were demons.

There was an inside heated pool and hot tub outside the back door that led to the patio. We were on the top level of the skyscraper, so I imagined being in the pool late at night would be a magnificent view of the city.

After they showed me all the major rooms, Legion showed me the bedrooms.

“This is Asmodeus’s bedroom.” Legion opened the door. Peeking my head inside, I was hit with his scent of the woods and spice. His bed was made with a black comforter. I blanched when my gaze landed on one wall that had whips and chains.

“Wh-what’s that?” I asked while pointing at the freaky whips hanging on the wall. Off to the side were ropes and handcuffs.

Legion followed the direction I pointed at, and a grin tipped up his lips. “You’ll find out soon enough, little one.” He looked at me, still smirking and watching as I gazed at the whips in confusion.

“He doesn’t plan on tying me up, does he?”

Legion leaned his shoulder against the doorway and crossed his arms over his chest. He took up most of the space in the opening with my back pressed against the opposite side of the frame. Our chests nearly touched, and I could feel the heat coming from him. God, he’s so warm.

Legion drew his eyebrows together and stared at me with his sharp dark eyes, a question lighting them up. I didn’t need to ask because he opened his mouth.

“What all do you know about sex, little human?”

Well, that was a strange question.

I shrugged a shoulder, my cheeks warmed with a blush. I suddenly felt naked under his penetrating stare. A thousand thoughts flittered through my mind, and I couldn’t keep up with them to grasp what I thought.

“I know what sex is, demon,” I snapped and crossed my arms over my chest as I walked away from him. My pride hurt because of his question. He acted like I didn’t know what sex was. I knew enough that it wasn’t enjoyable up until recently and that it was meant to breed, nothing more.

The old rich men from my fallen country made it illegal for women to feel pleasure.
