CHAPTER TEN

“I’m going to explain to you how this works as I do the first one, okay?” I ask her, making sure I still have her consent to move forward.

She nods.

“So I put some alcohol on this cotton pad, and I’m going to make just a small dot with it to start out, let you know how it feels before I start making longer sections.”

I get the cotton wet with alcohol and then pick up the lighter. I can feel Owen watching me with interest. He’s always known that I’m into this, but we never experimented with it. So he’s never seen this happen either.

You have to have quick hands to make sure there aren’t any marks left on the body. I’m not doing this to brand her. We’re just doing this for fun and for the warm burn of the fire.

So immediately after I place the cotton swab in a small place on her stomach, I light it with the lighter and immediately pick up the cloth and wipe it off, extinguishing the little flame.

Her stomach jumps and she gasps, hissing air through her teeth. Her eyes meet mine. They’re wide and wild. A smile begins to grow on those beautiful full lips.

She likes it.

“How was it?” Owen asks between the soft kisses he’s planting on her thighs.

“Good, I think,” she says a little breathlessly. “Yeah.” Her smile grows. “That was actually really good. Can we do more?”

“Yeah,” I say, laughing. “I will slowly do bigger and bigger sections, creating different trails on your skin. And maybe over some places on your body that are especially sensitive?”

She nods, biting her lip.

“And I will get to work,” Owen tells her, sinking between her thighs and giving her a long, slow lick up her center. I lose track of what I’m doing for a second, watching him eat her like he doesn’t need to come up for air.

She moans and whimpers, her hand fisting his hair roughly as he toys with her clit. His eyes connect with mine and I realize I’m just staring while I sit there, awkwardly holding the lighter and cloth.

I blink a few times, coming back to myself and he just smiles before diving back in. Aurora’s hand grabs onto my thigh and my eyes move back to her. They’re pleading with me to continue. She wants to see what it’s like to be driven to the edge by fire.

So I start small again, but still a bit bigger of a spot than last time, repeating the steps. My eyes light up with each flame and I become entranced by it. I’ve always had a thing for fire, even when I was younger. I would play with matches and was constantly getting caught setting things on fire in the backyard.

So now when I get to light skin on fire for the pleasure of the people around me, it gives me a rush.

I create long lines down her stomach, lighting and extinguishing, lighting and extinguishing. I make them longer and longer each time, some of them reaching her ribs and just under her breasts.
