God, I’d love to erase the whole vapid city from the map. Cleansing fire to burn it to the ground. Or biblical floods to gush down the city streets, to wash it all away.

At least in NY we have the decency to acknowledge our dark side. We embrace the filth, because everyone knows you’re only ever a few steps away from the gutter.

But this place? They dress it up.

Fake teeth, fake lashes, fake tits.

Voila! The metamorphosis is complete. A junkie whore dressed up in couture.

But the glossy facade can’t hide the blood on the city’s teeth. All the thousands this place has chewed up and spit out. The fallen stars. The washed-up has-beens. The bums sleeping on the streets.

Welcome to Los Angeles, where dreams go to die.

No one cares about the little guy. No one cares when a bug gets crushed.

If you want the attention of the world, you have to kill one of the pretty people, one of the celebrities. So be it.

I came back for a reason. My work here isn’t done, and I mean to do whatever it takes.

The stakes couldn’t be higher. It’s always darkest before dawn.

And the degree of difficulty ratchets up this time. You’ll have to be sharp to save them.
