Chuck ran as fast as he could towards the fence. The fox chased after him. Chuck was a very slow chick. The fox got closer and closer. He was soon close enough to grab Chuck. He opened his mouth and Cheeps hit the ground. He was covered in drool but he was safe.

Chuck hurried and got into the same hole he dug before. The fox was running so fast that he couldn’t stop and hit his head on the fence post. It knocked him silly!

“Quick Cheeps, run before the fox wakes up and tries to eat us again,” yelled Chuck.
