‘Very good,’ Too Big said, giving his daughter a goodnight kiss.

Inside Old Tumbledown Farm, Eliza listened carefully, until she heard Chewy snoring (like a rhinoceros) and Too Big snorting (like a rhinoceros with a terrible cold).

‘They’re asleep!’ she hissed to the others. ‘Come on! This is our chance! This is our chance to get home!’
