It supports the types of probes in the following ways:

Liveness probe: K8s uses the liveness probe to check whether an application container in a pod has crashed. It will stop and start a new pod if a liveness probe fails.

Readiness probe: K8s uses the readiness probe to check whether an application container in a pod is ready to handle requests. If a readiness probe fails, it will keep the pod running, but it will not forward any request.

Startup probe: K8s uses the startup probe to check whether an application container in a pod has started. If it has started successfully, K8s starts pinging the application by liveness and readiness probes.
