Keeping a chair or table nearby is best for a single leg raise until you are sure of your balance capabilities. Starting, maintain a straight posture when standing. Next, steadily raise your right foot while maintaining your left foot firmly planted and without bending your knee. Hold the posture before lowering the leg to the floor. Then, by raising your left foot, repeat this motion. Repeat each movement 10 times. Finally, raise your leg or flex your calf to make this exercise more challenging.
