Four excisions remove conduct that is strongly degrading and dehumanising to a woman in a sex scene, reducing the extent of similar conduct in the scene to an acceptable level. The fifth excision completely removes a sex scene that has a high extent of conduct that is degrading, dehumanising and demeaning to a woman, including conduct that very strongly has this effect. The distributor agreed to the excisions and in compliance with this, submitted another version of the DVD. Four excisions were made to one scene to the satisfaction of the Classification Office, removing strongly degrading and dehumanising sexual conduct. The beginning of the scene also appears to have been shortened. The scene has a faulty soundtrack, with noises of sexual arousal that do not synchronise with the activity on screen, giving it a bizarre edge. These additional changes do not raise further issues of injury. The other problematic scene was removed as requested. The tide for the scene still appears on the special features menu screen but is overlaid with a notice stating "Banned in NZ". While re-authoring the DVD, the distributor also made some other minor and insignificant changes to the disc, for example, removing notices and website information.
