LASER AND VINYL CUTTER PROJECTS

Laser cutters cut patterns and shapes into wood, felt, and plastic. The speed and strength of the laser can be increased or decreased, which determines the depth of a cut for a particular substance. Some 2D parts can be punched out and snapped together (or press-fit) into 3D objects. A vinyl cutter is similar to a printer but uses a cutting blade instead of a printing head and cuts thin sheets of vinyl or cardboard instead of paper. These cutters can make letters, shapes, and signs.
