In a separate bowl, whisk together the olive oil and the lime juice and then add in your dry chilli mixture. Whisk thoroughly until everything is fully mixed and there are no lumps.
Place the strips of chicken breast into a bowl or a zip lock bag, and pour the marinade over the meat. Refrigerate for at least 6 hours or overnight.
Remove the chicken from the fridge and preheat the BBQ grill to a medium heat. Cook the chicken on the grill for at least 5 minutes before turning the strips and cooking for another 5 minutes.
