Vegetable oil - ¼ cup

Dark brown sugar - ¾ cup

Vanilla extract - 1½ teaspoons

Evaporated milk - ⅓ cup

Vanilla pudding mix/custard powder - 1½ tablespoons

Cake Flour - 1 cup

Salt- ⅛ teaspoon

Baking powder- 3½ teaspoons

Preparation Time: 1 hour 35 mins

Serving Size: 8

Instructions:

1. Beat the eggs, brown sugar and vegetable oil until fluffy.

2. Next, add vanilla extract, milk, custard powder and beat for a minute.

3. Sift the flour, salt and baking powder and fold it in. Let it rest for half an hour.

4. Grease your cake tin with butter and flour it. Or use parchment paper if you are using a steamer basket.

5. Pour the batter into the pan. Let it settle and even out for a few minutes. Meanwhile, set up your steamer. Steam for half an hour or an extra five minutes more on medium-high heat. Do a toothpick test to see if it is done if it comes out clean the cake is ready. Serve when cooled. Enjoy!
