Funnel approach

By learning the general concepts and broader framework of a topic first, understanding is sounder for learning the smaller details (University of Winnipeg n.d.).

Condense

Narrow notes down until you have colourful bullet points on flash cards or sticky notes to quickly refresh the memory just before the exam. A PowerPoint of key subject points can also provide visual cues for memory and retention.

Kinaesthetic

Move about while reading or reciting facts. And use a stress ball or a hair band on the wrist to aid concentration.
