Ross

I jerked awake when something landed on top of me. Ross pinned me to the mattress by holding the bedding down around me. I gulped, staring up at him.

“Time to get up,” he said, his voice rough.

I shivered and blinked.

A wicked grin tilted his lips and he rolled his lower body against mine. “Or are you already?”

Oh, damn. I bit my bottom lip before answering. “Well, it is, um, morning.”

“So it is.” He got off the bed, and I frowned. “Plenty of time for that later, though. Right now, we’re going running.”

He grabbed the blanket and sheet at the bottom of the bed and yanked them off me. I sat up with a gasp for the in-rush of cool air and the fact my pajama bottoms were tented over my cock.

“R-running?” I covered my pounding heart and groin. “I don’t run.”

I nearly added my usual “unless chased,” but thought better of it. Ross would chase me.

“Yep.” He headed for the door. “We’ll drive down to the track, run a few laps, then hit the locker room.” He walked out into the hallway. “Hurry up, Pete.”

But my brain was stuck on me and him in the locker room on campus. I’d gone in there all of once before and it was enough to drive me insane with lust for big, sweaty athletes.

And Ross had noticed. Oh, my God.

I’d had no idea I’d been at all obvious about my sudden and intense fetish for such things, but Ross must have known for the past four months.

Gulping, my stomach clenching, I got out of bed and found an outfit suited for running. At least, the shorts and t-shirt looked workout ready to me. I just hoped Ross wasn’t planning to make me run any real distance; like one lap instead of “a few.”

I went down the stairs slowly, but only because Ross stood below. Tucking his iPhone into the armband he wore, he didn’t see me ogling him. His inattention let me linger on the bulges of the muscles in his shoulders, arms, and legs. He had beautiful calves, diamond-cut and just enough dark hair to caress.

“Ready?” Ross asked, snapping my gaze up to his face.

As I nodded and step down in front of him, it was so surreal to have him look me over with appreciation in his eyes. I knew I looked all right, but this was Ross eyeing me with a subtle smirk lifting his lush lips.

Suddenly it hit me. I hadn’t picked Ross. Yeah, okay, after the first day, I hadn’t chosen any of them specifically, but… Ross? Right now? I wasn’t ready.

Frowning, he stepped closer. “Hey,” he said. “It goes both ways, you know.”

“What does?”

He looked me right in the eyes. “I won’t expect anything from you that you’re not ready to give.”

Mind-reader. He had to be.

“Okay?” he asked.

I nodded.

Ross grinned and cupped the back of my head. “Give me the words, Pete. Tell me you understand and agree.”

“I understand and agree.” And, dear lord, having you hold my head like that makes me feel like I belong to you.
