Two Modified Circuits Equal a 16 Set Workout

After completing a modified circuit as shown in the workout pictures, repeat the circuit a second time. This will give you a total of 16 sets. Once you have completed two circuits, you can finish the workout with an ab exercise for 30 to 60 seconds. I call this workout The Double 4-3-1 Circuit. It is an ideal amount of work for a 15 minute workout.

Important: Rotate Sets and Reps Over 3 Workouts

The double 4-3-1 circuit workout does give you another training option, but like the 8-6-2 workout, the number of sets for each exercise must be rotated over the course of three workouts. Each exercise must be done for a series of four sets in one of the workouts, a series of three sets in another workout, and for one set of ten reps in a third workout. This is shown in picture form on the next page:
