Safari

As the default browser built into OS X, it’s no surprise that Safari is frequently used by Mac owners. Not to mention the integrated syncing across OS X and iOS devices. Older versions of Safari do something a little bit different than most browsers by storing browser history in a binary property list file. Newer versions of Safari store history in an sqlite3 database format. We will cover the collection and analysis of both types since this change was invoked not too long ago. Safari timestamps are stored in seconds since 00:00:00 Jan. 1, 2001 UTC.
