Handi-Hams

This is ham for disable people. Disability is never inability, but if you feel you are disable in any way and you love ham as a hobby – then there is a place for you. Ham radio leverages excellent communication avenues to individuals who otherwise find themselves reduced (somewhat) by physical limitations. Handi-Hams, which was established in 1967, is a specialty club charged with the responsibility of providing equipment and opportunities to make ham radio accessible to people with one disability or another. Handi-Hams not only aids hams that have disabilities reach out to other parts of the world, but as well helps members to team up with other ham members and to diverse helpful services.
