Micah

Today, she is asking for today. I know this is more for us just to move off the conversation. I see it all over her face; the fear and I have no other ideas of how to make her see that I watched her move away from me once, I’m not about to let that happen again. My only other option is to just prove to her that everything is going to be alright.

“You know, this is a first for me.”

She looks up at me puzzled, as I close the space in between us.

“I have you in a shower, wet and naked completely at my mercy. And, all I can think about it getting dressed, finding food, and getting away with you on the back of my bike.”

“Even if I do this,” she wraps her arms around my neck and presses her wet body tight against mine, as she finds my lips with hers.

She nibbles on my bottom lip, nothing hungry, just teasing and plays with the hair at the back of my head.

“How about now, still hungry?”

“Hunger now is becoming a little fuzzy.”

“What if I told you,” she stretches up on her tippy toes and with her lips so close to my ear, it almost tickles, “I want you to carry me out of here, lay me on the bed, and make love to me, not sex. I want you to make love to me.”

I pull back and look into emerald, green eyes. Who needs food? Reaching behind me, I slam the handle down turning off the water, push open the door, and in one swift motion pick her up.

“Does this mean your hunger changed?”

“No, this means any man who would say no to a woman asking him to make love to her is out of his mind. Food can wait a little longer, right now, I need to have you.”

Laying her down on the bed, she shivers as her wet body hits the cold sheets. Leaning over her I know just the way to warm her up.

“You are mine, Aspen, and nothing is going to take you away from me again.”

Her fingers dig into my wet hair that is dripping all over her, sending water trails all over her body.

She pulls my head down to hers and finds my lips. “I love you, Micah, always have and always will. Please promise me that no matter what happens, you remember that.”

“You need to stop talking like this isn’t going to last. This is the first time we make love, and I am planning on there to be many more times to follow.”

Sex, yes we have had lots of sex. Making love, there is more intensity to it, more heartfelt meaning behind it. Maybe that is what has been missing for her, maybe this will show her how much she means to me.

Claiming her lips, my hand begins its worship of her body. Running along her cheek, down her neck, to her shoulder. Her skin is white and smooth, my lips follow my hand's journey.
