Red Nova finally arrived at the address of the dock indicated in the phoned-in tip. The afternoon was quiet down by the docks and the superheroine easily parked her powercycle behind some containers adjacent to the suspected warehouse.

A few nights had passed since the freighter had docked and its roving watch had seen the headlight-less car approach and park next to the warehouse. But the freighter was now long gone. It had been quickly unloaded of its delivered cargo and reloaded with new goods. The ship was once again plying the shipping lanes.

The stunning and strutting red-costumed superheroine was not like the headlight-less car which had arrived cryptically at the dockside warehouse a few nights previously - Red Nova’s nipples were enlarged and protruding erotically, like puffy prisms, through her silky costume. The early-winter off-shore wind had settled in quite strongly and had brought the resulting chilly breeze.

The snooping and gumshoeing superheroine’s headlights were definitely ‘on’.

Wanting to sleuth and survey the interior of the warehouse more so than the exterior of the building, and also to get out of the brisk and enveloping wind, Red Nova quickly opened a door by gently putting force on the door’s frame while also putting a squeezing force on the door itself. Once inside, the hot hottie let her eyes adjust to the cool darkness as she began to saunter around the dusty and musty warehouse.

There wasn’t much to see at first. The superheroine’s inspection revealed a mostly empty warehouse. The building was empty of material and more importantly, empty of any ne’er-do-wells.

But one area on the far side of the space revealed some items of highly questionable motive.

Grouped relatively close together in the open floor area next to a small office were four long and wooden crates and an equal number of gas masks. Closer inspection revealed some white handkerchiefs stacked neatly in one of the crates next to an unopened bag of plastic zip-ties. Given the ample size of the crates and the accompanying white handkerchiefs and ties, plus the secretive location close to the harbor’s docks, it was easy to determine what was going on: the warehouse was obviously the transfer point for a white-slavery ring.

All that was missing were the brown chloroform bottles. That, or the sinister gas canisters which would be at the other end of the gas masks keeping the carnal cargo secured and sequestered.

The items sent a shiver down Red Nova’s spine.

The superheroine thought for a moment as if to try and recollect if there was a case opened at The AGENCY for any type of known sex-trade happenings in the city.
