4. Turn the fabric right side up. Pin the zippered pocket in place, 10″ from the top and 6″ from the right-hand edge. Using a zigzag stitch, sew the pocket to the bag on all sides. Be careful not to sew into the zipper’s teeth and break your needle!

5. Push a safety pin through the end of the cord and fasten the pin. Feed the pin and cord through the channel and out the other side. Knot each cord end.

6. Fold the bag in half with right sides together ¼″ Pin the sides. Starting at the bottom, sew the sides together ¼″ from the edge. Stop before you get to the drawstring channel. Backtack to reinforce the seam. Knot the cord ends together.
