Step 4: At the front left side, dig a small hole for the String of Pearls and repeat the same process as in step 3. Allow some of the “pearls” to hang over the edge of the bowl. As this plant grows longer, you can take cuttings and propagate them to make new plants. Succulents are best propagated by placing the cuttings on top of moist soil and keeping it in a humid area until you see roots start to grow. In the case of String of Pearls, make sure some of the stem is touching the soil so that the new roots know where to go. See chapter 4 for more details on propagation.
